Spring officially begins this month (on the 20th), and for me what first comes to mind is—of course—spring cleaning. To get you into the mood, here are a few inspiring quotations:

My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance. —Erma Bombeck
Dust is a protective coating for fine furniture. —Mario Buatta
Housework can’t kill you, but why take a chance? —Phyllis Diller
I hate housework. You make the beds, you wash the dishes and six months later you have to start all over again. —Joan Rivers
Nature abhors a vacuum. And so do I. —Anne Gibbons

Ooops. On second thought, you can be more productive and look online for a spring cleaning checklist, but before you know it you will be up to your neck in suggestions. For example, in addition to all the dusting and sweeping, you must remember to vacuum refrigerator coils, wash switch plates, wash doorknobs, and reseal grout lines (who knew?). And let’s not forget getting all those crumbs out of the toaster. Soon enough you’ll be in this situation:

spring

But seriously, let us do all the cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and washing of windows; our handymen can do all those repairs around the house, and they can even reseal the grout! Thus you see there’s only one thing needed on your spring cleaning checklist: call A Votre Service! Et voilà!
