Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we’ve no place to go
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Perhaps you’ve heard this song played (rather frequently) during the holidays, “Let It Snow.” It has been covered by many famous artists—Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, and Ray Charles—to name just a few; here’s Dean Martin’s version, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7LW0Y00kE. And although the weather is not quite as frightful (at least yet), we believe you should be prepared, otherwise you might find yourself in this situation:

That’s why we offer house watching services. We can visit your house once a week (or more often as the need arises) to make sure that the paths and driveways are plowed and salted/sanded. We will also let you know if there’s a heavy buildup of snow on the roof, and advise you if there seems to be any damage to the gutters, or if tree limbs threaten the house. Inside your home we can adjust the thermostat, and once all that snow starts to melt, we will be vigilant to see if there are any leaks within.

Ice or snow storms, hail or rain, there’s no need to worry, we’ll get to your home no matter what:

Let-it-snow-2

And as the song says, if “it doesn’t show signs of stopping”… I recommend you bear in mind what awaits in the Hamptons in the summer:

Let-it-snow-3

Amitiés,
Jocelyne
